I am Elaine,

A native Brazilian full of passion, lots of experience and desire for change.

Dancing has always been my elixir of life. My training began in Brazil, in the interior

(Belo Horizonte – MG) in a municipal art school, Palace of the Arts (Palacio das Artes)

Under the direction of Carlos Leite, with wonderful teachers such as Adriana Duarte, Judis Grimmberg and Emil Dotti. At the age of 10, I was accepted with a scholarship after an aptitude test. My God... I still remember how excited I was! The first pointe shoes of my life were given to me by the prima ballerina Lina Lapertosa (Teatro Palacio das Artes). I enjoyed a wonderful training using the Cechetti method, which I completed with flying colors. Then my professional path began with Giselle Santoro in the capital of Brazil (Brasilia). An excellent ballet master who sent me to Rio de Janeiro to study with Eugenia Feodorova to improve my technique.

There I studied the Russian method (Vaganova), which I demonstrated to Eliana Karin in various competitions.

In a municipal audition I was accepted into the ballet company of Niterói Rio de Janeiro with 1st place and full marks.

I was very proud that I could realize my dream!
